This Privacy policy complies with GDPR and we list what data we are storing about you, how we collect it and what you can expect when it its stored and for how long. We are required to inform you about who we are, what we are using the information for, what gives us the right to collect certain data and how we treat the data. What data do we process

We gather different personal data to be able to run the system. Since the system is about monitor and manage information.
We gather information like:
* Contact information and preferences
* Financial data, invoices etc when purchasing anything from us
* Data related to you as a pilot, certificates, diplomas, logbook of flights, hours etc.
* Date needed for the use of your company when connected to such: Next of Kin, Adress, phone number, flight times, duty times, mission reports signed, and other tasks done and signed as your work for that company.

How we obtain data about you

Most of the information obtained by you are entered by yourself in consent. Some other data might be added from a company you are in relationship with. This data could be data like certificates, diplomas, course certificates with signatures, addresses, phone numbers, email adress. It could also be information you are asked by the company to add to your own profile. We alos collect data via Cookies ans sessions. Refer to Cookies and tracking software section.

Cookies and tracking software

Like most sites we uses cookies, a small file stored locally on your machine, either short time, during your browser is open or longer time. Some cookies are for functioning of the site itself, cookies that without, the site would not work. We collect data for analytics and to help us improve the system and functions. This is information includes
* Device information
* Behaviour of user navigation
* Event data into data logs, tracking systems and support service tickets
We analyze traffic, performance which could include personal data like IP addresses. But these are not stored, just monitored for traffic irregularities and security purposes. The other kind is used by tools like Google Analytics to help us track an monitor behavior of our users to see what works and what does not. To help us improve the FLB system as much and best we can. Cookies can be deactivated at browser level, some things might still work, but some might break totally in the FLB system. Like mos web sites we gather certain information automatically into log files, information like IP Adress, browser type, referring site, which pages where visited at flightlogbackup.com with timestamps and navigation. This to improve the FLB system. We do not use this for marketing purposes.

Access rights to your data & ”The right to be forgotten”

GDPR assures that you have the right to update, modify, and in some cases delete the stored data about you.
Most of the data is already fully controlled and editable by you from your account.
There are some regards where you are not allowed to demand deletion of data, and that if the data is needed for some other contractual or by law need to be stored. This could eg be data regarding you as a pilot for a company you are connected to. If the company require you to share adress and phone number with them, we are not allowed to delete that data for you.
For deletion of your Flightlogbackup (FLB) account, please log into your account via www.flightlogbackup.com and navigate to Support - Contact and open a ticket. Alternatively contact us at support@flightlogbackup.com.
If your account is deleted, all data will be lost and not accessible via the website or FLB App on Appstore or Play Store.

Marketing

FLB will use your email upon registration to send out important service notes and news letters.
You can opt out of the newsletters either by selecting the unsubscribe link in the email, or under Settings in your account.

Third parties, Social Media and widgets

FLB website may include social media widgets or support widgets fromm third parties. These functions may collect information about IP adress and time on interaction or set a cookie.
These functions are hosted directly from the providers and are governed by their individual privacy policy.
We make use of:
* Google Analytics by Google to track and monitor user behavior of The service to be able to develop and improve.
* Zendesk for Support and Manual libraries.
* Amazon Web Services for storage and hosting of parts of The Service. * Visma SPCS for invoicing.

Testimonials

We might submit testimonials from you to showcase our system.
This may include name, email and picture. This is always only done with your explicit consent.

How we keep your information secure

We keep your account information on a secure server behind a firewall in 24/7 guarded server centers.
When you enter sensitive information, such as passwords and at login, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology, SSL (Indicated by the green/blue color in the adress field).
If you manually change your URL we can no longer guarantee that sensible data will be encrypted.
